Ricardo Rodriguez
Born in Mexico City, Mexico Dec. 6, 1984, and moved to San Antonio, Texas, when I was 16 years old. I graduated in 2003 from Thomas Jefferson High School and joined Say Si San Antonio’s premiere creative youth development, where I was until my senior year in 2003. In 2002 I started my journey in the restaurant industry until July of 2021, when I decided to give Art my full-time commitment. I’ve always enjoyed drawing and painting more as a hobby. David Alfaro Siqueiros, Diego Rivera, Salvador Dali, Leonardo DaVinci, and Vincent Van Gogh are a few of my favorites in Art History. Art teacher and Mentor Claudio Aguillon (local artist) was the first one to introduce me to muralism. Impressionism, contemporary, abstract, and realism have greatly influenced my art style.
