Mateo Hernandez

San Antonio based artist, Mateo Hernandez, has been honing his skills in visual arts for the past several years. He established an early interest in art making while growing up which led him to a short stint at Northwest Vista. Color has been the base of Mateo’s pieces throughout the years. His most popular series to date and the largest body of work is that which started as an homage to the everyday painter. Mateo has expanded this into works that speak try to speak to everyone. His preferred medium in painting is acrylic on canvas.
