Evelyn Espinoza

Each new place Evelyn visits, or lives in, she takes photos of everything. She is very particular to use only her travel photographs as source material for oil paintings and watercolors. She frequently develops a series of work based on location, or subject. Vibrant colors, repetition and symmetry are often found throughout her paintings. Evelyn explores a range of subjects: still life, portraiture, landscapes. She has been painting in oil since 2007, and painting in watercolor since 2017.

Since graduating with a BA in Fine Art from the University of Hertfordshire, UK, Evelyn has completed online classes and courses in traditional painting, figurative drawing, portraiture, photography, art marketing, and art specific business courses.

Evelyn is a member of the Watercolor Society of Alabama, American Watercolor Society, Northwest Watercolor Society, Texas Watercolor Society, Women in Watercolor, and San Antonio Art League and Museum. Evelyn has exhibited in galleries and shows throughout the USA, Europe, South Korea, as well as Japan. Evelyn has received national and international awards for her Digital Photo Montages, paintings, and photography.
